Always have all new employees complete an Application of Employment, as that is a client’s proprietary document, whereas a resume is intellectual property of the employee and could contain embellishments. It is grounds for immediate dismissal, for falsification of information, if the new employee inaccurately completes the Employment Application, as it is considered Gross Misconduct.
