A great benefit of enrolling in a High Deductible Health plan is the availability of the Health Savings Account (HSA). Unlike flexible spending accounts, the HSA is not use it or lose it and you still get the pre-tax advantage. Even if you do not use your funds within your plan year they roll over to the next. Most people do not realize that even if they leave their employer or change plans those funds are theirs to keep!
