One Example Why We’re Proud to Serve as Trusted Advisors
Posted on October 28, 2009 by Matt Meigs in Best Practices
We had a wonderful heartfelt moment at our San Leandro office on Friday afternoon… a customer stopped by to personally thank one of our Solution Center Advocates for everything she did for his family in a time of need. The worksite employee, from a high-tech manufacturing firm located across the Bay in San Ramon, hand delivered flowers and chocolates to our very own Kathryn Moseley for going above and beyond the call of duty.
This worksite employee’s wife had just been laid off, and her insurance was to terminate in a couple of days at the end of the month. She was currently hospitalized, and would need outpatient care once released. Kathryn tirelessly provided guidance in selecting the appropriate plan that offered the immediate and extended care needed, which included several conference calls between providers and the customer.
He was almost speechless and said, “I understand electronics, not insurance. I honestly do not have enough words to express my gratitude for helping my family… I have been in the workforce for a long time and never in my life have I received service like this from anyone. I am very glad that my company chose TriNet.”
The exchange between Kathryn and the worksite employee was very touching. Kathryn was lauded for the way she cares for her customers and how well she knows her trade. The worksite employee even said that he tries to do his best with his customers, but since his interactions with Kathryn, she has raised the bar on what that means. In an email exchange following his surprise delivery, he added, “you’re a star, and make no mistake, it’s your actions that have touched so many people; we’re lucky to have happened to be two of them.”
Kathryn was thankful for the opportunity to resolve the issues at hand and said, “it was a pleasure to be of help; he was very responsive and open with his needs… the gifts were quite a surprise, and of course, a wonderful way to start the weekend.”
The above is just one of many examples of how we touch the lives of the people we serve, and why our goal to be the trusted advisor to small businesses isn’t just a catch phrase; each and every one of the 900+ TriNet employees realizes our ability to have an impact—in a very meaningful way—in the lives of others. Congratulations again to Kathryn for leading by example! Your story has touched many folks throughout the company.
